Link campaigns

This is the fourth and most difficult of AlterMedia’s four “main steps to web visibility”. After you’ve done your web analytics, your Google AdWords, and done Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on your website, you are now in a situation to best pursue links with other websites.

The value of a links campaign is ultimately the highest of all Four Steps, since the benefits are long-lasting (like SEO, but unlike AdWords), and the effect of an accumulated body of “inlinks” is significant and essentially without limit. But this is a time-consuming task that requires an ongoing campaign over at least several months.

There are also dangers of course, such as associating yourself with sub-standard, blacklisted, or non-relevant sites, and there are “link farming” schemes that need to be avoided. There are no safe shortcuts to acheiving healthy inlinks: however, although AlterMedia will increase the links leading to your site using widely-approved SEO techniques, we also have the advantage of doing so efficiently using our proprietary software.
